First record of Myotis albescens (É. Geoffroy) from Paraná State, Brazil (Chiroptera, Vespertilionidae)

This is the first record of the vespertilionid bat Myotis albescens (É. Geoffroy, 1806) from Paraná State. An individual of M. albescens was recorded on Mutum Island, Porto Rico Municipality (22° 46' 20" S and 53° 16' 01" W). This record fills an important gap in the distribution of M. albescens, as well as contributes to the knowledge of the mammals of Paraná.Published
