Abstract

Population fluctuation of Agallia incongrua Oman, 1938 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) in Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Based on light-trap collections from 1986 to 1988 at Mata do Paraíso, Viçosa county, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, annual fluctuations of the leafhopper Agallia incongrua Oman, 1938 were studied. Fluctuations in the population were positively correlated to mean temperature. No significant correlations between the species fluctuations and the rainfall patterns were observed. The population pattern of A. incongrua during the wet season was not different from that of the dry season at Mata do Paraíso.
