Abstract

A synopsis of Lauraceae from the states of Goiás and Tocantins is presented. Species were identified based on original descriptions and available taxonomic revisions, as well as from the study of types and historical specimens (at least their images) held in herbaria B, BR, C, F, HBG, KIEL, L, LE, M, MO, NY, S, U and US. A preliminary list of 49 species belonging to 10 genera is presented.
